CELLULAR CONCRETE
WATER IMPERMEABLE
Cellular concrete, or foamed concrete, is a liquid mortar: a mixture of cement, water, fibre, and foam. Cellular concrete is light, inexpensive, long-lasting, and easy to apply. The cellular concrete that SuperSub SportSystems uses is made from the most durable cements.
The SuperSub sports foundation of SuperSub SportSystems consists of fibre-reinforced cellular concrete and meets the highest quality requirements. The material is frost-resistant and insulating, allowing for thin structures. Little material is thus needed. At the same time, our cellular concrete has very high strength properties. It can even withstand the occasional entry by an ambulance.
Since SuperSub is produced on site, hardly any transport movements are required. The construction time is also 50% shorter than traditional, with minimal disruption to the environment. Finally, the pitch remains permanently flat, which benefits the playing characteristics.

SUBTILES
OUR SECRET
SubTile is the English word for quirky, and that is exactly what this product means: we have thought about it very carefully.
A SubTile is a smart invention for synthetic turf pitches. The tiles have the right properties for drainage in combination with the right playing values. All this is according to the NOC*NSF [Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation] standards.
SubTiles are installed between the artificial grass and a foundation of impermeable cellular concrete. The plastic tiles are delivered on rolls, which means that installation time is very minor.
Our SubTiles are made from 100% recycled material. In addition, they can be fully reused as SubTiles at the end of the life cycle - without loss of quality! Although currently made from recycled bottles, in the near future they may be made from recycled plastic.
The SubTile was awarded the national sustainability prize in 2019.

SUPERGUTTERS
WATER CONTROL
Gutters can be cut in the cellular concrete. These gutters serve to drain excess rainwater, but our PushSub system can also serve to supply water. That is how we create a win-win.

SUPER EDGINGS
WATER CONTROL
Our edgings are excellent water controls. They consist of a 2.10 metre basic element that comprises the formwork and serves as the outlet. With the integrated clamping system, they are applied in a single pass.

SUBTUBES

Artificial turf pitches can become very hot in summer - up to fifty degrees Celsius. To capture, transport and recover this heat, we can install pipes in the SubTiles, called SubTubes. In short, SubTubes are ideal for optimal heat recovery.
